There are several renderings of the coming A8 which will be an electric vehicle. It’s the reason it’s known as the A8 e-tron. 2025 Audi A8 e-Tron Review
In comparison to rivals in the market, such as Mercedes-Benz and 2025 Audi A8 e-Tron while elegantly trimmed is somewhat uninspiring in terms of aesthetics. Our design plan is aimed at redressing this by incorporating elements of the Grandsphere concept into a striking and practical design. The grille of Audi’s “single frame” is completely revamped, with chrome accents that point toward the wheels. The hood is low the headlamps hint at an R8 supercar, and the sloping doors and the higher beltline enhance the sleek style. While not as striking as the Grandsphere’s boat-tailed Grandsphere the fastback rear ends have OLED taillamps as well as an elongated roofline that is sculpted with rear buttresses.
Interior
Audi interiors are considered to be among the top available and the Grandsphere concept isn’t an exception. The concept car showcased technological excellence with its projected displays and controls that were based on gestures. Fortunately, it appears that the Ingolstadt automaker has promised that future models will feature tactile controls for those who prefer tactile experience.
Incorporating an elegant version of the interior of the e-tron GT the A8’s next model will feature an improved interior space for occupants and luxurious and eco-friendly materials. Expect features like an enhanced-reality head-up display and digital services, as well as the next-generation Audi Virtual Cockpit and dynamic ambient lighting. To provide the ultimate level of relaxation in levels 3 and 4, autonomous self-driving systems may be introduced in the final phase of the model cycle of the e-tron.
Engine & Performance
Based on Volkswagen’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) design, the A8 etron is built on modular components, as are the coming Porsche Macan EV and Audi A6 e-tron. The 800-volt system is powered by 120 kWh of battery with an estimated distance of 750 km (466 miles) between charges. DC fast charging with up to 270kW can provide an additional 186 miles (300 km) within 10 minutes while a 5 – 80 percent charge takes only 25 minutes.
Staying true to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive concept The A8 e-tron has electric motors on both the rear and front axles to provide the most powerful torque-vectoring grip. The Grandsphere concept comes with the capacity of 530 horsepower (700 HP 710 PS) and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque to achieve the 100 km/h 0-100 kilometers per hour (0-62 miles per hour) time of less than four minutes. The Grandsphere concept is likely to only be available for the top-of-the-line S8 e-tron, but smaller-powered models are also available.
