Hyundai shocked the automotive industry with its new Palisade. We saw the mid-cycle update in 2023 and aren’t eager to see what the new features will be for the Hyundai Palisade 2024. We probably won’t be seeing many updates, but some may occur. We might see some new colors and additions to the standard equipment list. We could even see a brand-new appearance package.
We can expect to see the same layout and specs. We can expect to see a familiar layout, both in terms of aesthetics and mechanics. This will ensure a comfortable and smooth ride, among other things. The Palisade’s luxurious cabin and V6 engine are well known for their smooth, convenient, and comfortable ride. The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is expected to hit the market in the fourth quarter of this year.
2024 Hyundai Palisade Redesign
As we’ve already mentioned, there aren’t likely to be any major changes in the Hyundai Palisade 2024. It was a mid-size refresh that brought about a lot of new styling. The majority of the changes were made at the front, where you can see new grilles, headlights, and bumpers. All are designed in a bold and futuristic way. We won’t rule out some smaller updates such as new colors or a new look package. Officials have kept quiet about this issue so far.
The mechanical aspects will not change, and the model for next year will have the same chassis and suspension, which provides a comfortable and smooth ride. While the suspension is soft, it is still very good at absorbing road imperfections.
Interior
We don’t think that the 2024 Hyundai Palisade will have any more significant updates. We expect to see the familiar layout with the latest updates and the massive new infotainment display. This cabin, however, is luxurious and offers comfort and convenience thanks to the high-quality materials and standard equipment.
The interior space is generous, too. The second row also offers a lot of space. The third row of mid-size SUVs is usually a bit smaller but still very useful. The cargo space is very spacious, with around 18 cubic feet of room behind the third row, 45.8 cubic feet behind the second row, and 86.4 cubic feet of total cargo volume. This is very good for this segment.
We don’t think that there will be many changes in this area. We are confident that the majority of things will stay the same. Base models will be equipped with a 12.3″ touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation system, Wi-Fi hotspot, voice recognition technology, HD Radio satellite radio, Bluetooth, 5 USB ports, proximity entry keyless, remote start, push-button starter, Bluetooth, HD Radio and Bluetooth. Upgrades include a 12.3″ digital instrument cluster with Harman Kardon audio, wireless device charging, and an in-car Intercom. Other features include a dual-panel power sunroof and interior ambient LED lighting.
Engine
The turbo-fours are more efficient, and they have more torque at the low end. But when it comes down to refinement and smoothness, nothing can beat an old V6. We like that the Palisade still relies on the 3.8-liter, V6 engine which produces around 291 horsepower.
The engine has smooth power delivery and is a great choice for those who want a comfortable ride. The 8-speed transmission is smooth and refined. AWD is available on all models, including the base model. This SUV, when properly equipped, can tow up to 5000 pounds. That’s typical for its class. Fuel economy is also typical of the class, with 19 mpg city and 27 on the highway.
Safety Options
Palisade comes with several basic safety features and driver assistance technologies. Palisade features include rear parking sensors and full-speed adaptive Cruise Control. The system also features automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist, driver attention alert, automatic high beams, and rear parking sensors.
Trim Levels
The company may add a new configuration for the new season to refresh its lineup. Palisade SE is the base model. The standard package includes navigation, USB ports, USB ports for the first two rows, navigation, LED lights, a push-start button, and a 12.3″ screen. The seating capacity is eight. The Hyundai Palisade SEL 2024 adds simulated leather, a hands-free liftgate, and wireless charging, as well as zonal climate control. Seating capacity is reduced to seven as the captain’s seat replaces the middle bench.
The Premium Package is available on the SEL and includes numerous upgrades. The sunroof is one of the upgrades. Other features include the heated leather steering wheel, the large 20-inch wheels, the premium sound system, and USB ports on the third row. Diver’s bucket has memory settings. The first row has both heating and ventilation, while the second row only comes with heating. Parking sensors, lane-keep assist, and blindspot monitors are also available to improve safety.
The XRT upgrade the SEL by adding some cool exterior parts such as a black roof rail, a sunroof, and skid plates. The Premium bundle is still more expensive. Palisade Limited, but not. This one has a HUD, leather interior, power-folding seat, and dual-paned sunroof.
Connectivity & Infotainment Features
Hyundai Palisade 2024 comes standard with an 8″ touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Hyundai Palisade also features Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and a 6-speaker audio system. The higher trim levels come with a larger 10.25″ touchscreen, a 12-speaker premium audio system, wireless charging for devices, and an entertainment system in the rear seat that has dual 10.1″ touchscreens.
2024 Hyundai Palisade Release Date and Price
We assume that, as there are no major updates planned, the launch of the Hyundai Palisade 2024 will take place in the fourth quarter of this year. Base models will cost around 36,500 dollars. Models like the Honda Pilot, Nissan Pathfinder, and VW Atlas are some of its main competitors.
