2024 Hyundai Elantra Redesign
Hyundai Elantra’s current generation was redesigned for the model year 2021 in 2020. Now, which is available with minor changes for the 2023 Model Year. It is therefore likely that Hyundai Elantra 2024 will not have any major changes. Hyundai is expected to carry it over for the Next Model Year with a minor update. If there are any major changes, we will update the story with all of its new features. But for now, we don’t have any information on its redesign for 2024.
Engine, Power,& Performance
Hyundai Elantra comes with three different powertrains. For example, the base trims of its non-hybrid gasoline trims, SE, SEL, and Limited, are powered by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pounds-feet-of-torque. This power is then sent to the front-wheel drive system with an Intelligent Variable Transmission. Gasoline-powered N Line trims are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder inline engine, which generates 201 HP. The torque is then sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. N Performance is the top trim and comes with a Turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. It generates 276 HP. It is also paired with the N Line Trim’s transmission and drivetrain.
The Blue Hybrid trim and Limited Hybrid trim are powered by the 1.6-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine that produces a combined power output of 139 horsepower. This power is also sent to the standard Front-wheel Drive via a six-speed Ecoshift dual-clutch transmission. So its hybrid trims are the most fuel-efficient.
Interior, Comfort,& Cargo
The cabin of the Elantra is futuristic to match the exterior. The dashboard and center console wraps around the driver, while the passenger side is more minimalist. From the steering wheel to the passenger-side door panel, a single LED strip runs along the dashboard air vent.
The Elantra has a generous amount of passenger volume, especially in the back seat. This helps it compete with rivals like the Sentra or the Volkswagen Jetta, who have more room. The interior is not as luxurious as the photos suggest. There’s a lot of hard plastic, which shouldn’t be surprising for a car in this price range. The Elantra was able to fit six carry-on luggage in its trunk during our tests.
Infotainment & Connectivity
A 10.3″ digital gauge display is available as an option. It sits next to a 10.3″ infotainment screen that protrudes from the dashboard of the Elantra. Standard infotainment is an 8.0″ center display with analog gauges in the instrument cluster. Hyundai’s latest interface for infotainment is the star of this show. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Wi-Fi network are all standard. Voice recognition allows drivers to control things like climate control and heated seats simply by uttering certain phrases.
Safety and driver-assistance features
Many of the driver-assistance features come standard. Visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety to learn more about the Elantra crash test results. Safety features include:
- Standard automatic emergency braking system with pedestrian detection
- Lane-keeping assist with standard lane departure warning
