2024 Chrysler 300: When Can I Expect a New Chrysler 300 – Customers were spared the inevitable hiccups that come with new releases, and sister models from Dodge even built an entire muscle culture around the platform that they share with the 300.
As is the case with a large number of other FCA products already on the market, budget constraints have meant that engineers and designers have worked for years to improve aging platforms rather than coming up with all-new models. This has been beneficial for customers.
In light of the fact that FCA and PSA have just joined to become Stellantis, the mothership’s current objective is to accelerate the process of electrifying the fleet in order to make up for lost time. And at the most recent event, CES 2022, Stellantis detailed their intentions to entirely turn over Chrysler, with the goal of making it the giant’s high-tech brand in the near future.
As a result of this, Chrysler plans to introduce its first fully electric vehicle in the year 2025. This step will put the automaker on the path to being an all-electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer by the year 2028.

It is only logical to anticipate that Chrysler would maintain the body form of the Airflow show car for the production version of the vehicle, given that many sedans have already made way for the ever-more-popular crossovers.
The Chief Executive Officer of Chrysler, Christine Feuell, declined to provide a direct response to this question despite the fact that she was contacted about it by a number of different newspapers.
As you would expect, this has given rise to rumors that the Chrysler 300 will be succeeded by an electric vehicle rather than being offered as a sacrifice on the altar of the crossover. And we have to admit that we are among those who hope that the showroom version of the Airflow, which may or may not keep this name, goes down the path portrayed by this artist, for the sake of both aesthetics (which is admittedly a matter of opinion) and, to name an objective aspect, driving dynamics. In addition to the forthcoming 300C variant, it is anticipated that the 2023 Chrysler 300 will be a carryover model. The Chrysler 300, which has been on the market for close to twenty years, will finally be taken off the market. After the 2023 model year, the production of the big sedan will come to an end.
In order to pay homage to the long and illustrious history of the 300, Chrysler has unveiled a new 300C, which will be a limited edition that is only going to be produced in a run of 2,000 units in the United States.
Because it is a carryover model, the external styling of 2023 300 will be identical to that of the vehicle that is now available for purchase. The newest iteration of the 300 has a macho appearance because to its broad fenders, assertive body lines, and ample exhaust outlets.
The front end of the vehicle has a grille that is square, headlamps that are rectangular, and a lower air intake that is broad. The rear of the 300 sports a huge bumper, square taillights, and a little rear spoiler. In addition, the rear bumper is rather substantial. The new 300C has black trim pieces and specific emblems that identify it as a 300C model.
Massive analog controls, a central touchscreen that is incorporated into the dashboard, and large trim pieces on the center console are all hallmarks of the antiquated interior design seen in the current generation of the Chrysler 300. The huge sedan has soft plastics that give off an artificial appearance yet have a luxurious feel to it. Because of its big size, the 300 has a spacious interior that provides passengers with plenty of room to move about in both rows.
The future car that will be released in 2023 should have a similar interior design to the one that is now on the market. The inside of the limited-edition 2023 300C will be upholstered in black Laguna leather and include distinctive silver stitching. Additionally, the front seats will feature a 300C emblem engraved into the headrests.
Chrysler 300 Could Become An Electric Sedan For 2024
Drive, an Australian publication, claims to have had access to “insider information” that reveals Chrysler is working on an electric vehicle at the moment. This Chrysler four-door would be the platform sibling of an electric Dodge sedan, as has been the practice for the Pentastar since long before Stellaris.
The Dodge version of the vehicle is expected to arrive sometime in 2024, and the Chrysler variant is expected to arrive approximately two years later. Although the EV sedan was not named as a potential successor for the 300 in any of the papers, Drive puts out a trail of circumstantial evidence that leads to the conclusion that this is the case.
According to the papers, the cars would have electrical designs that operate at 800 volts, which is believed to suggest that they will also get the most powerful versions of Stellantis’ new electric motors, which may produce anywhere from 201 to 443 horsepower. As a consequence of this fact, Drive anticipates that these items would utilize the STLA Large platform, which is the same platform that an electric 300 would sit on.
As one of the several brands resets that Stellantis has committed to, Chrysler is now working on developing a variety of new goods. Christine Fuell, the CEO of Chrysler, stated in an interview with Automotive News in January that the company’s future product lineup “will include a number of brand-new products that don’t exist today, but also products that are still playing in segments that we’re in already.
” This statement was made in reference to the fact that Chrysler only competes in the large sedan and minivan markets. The automaker’s first electric vehicle is said to be the Airflow, which was initially shown off at CES in January after being previewed during the Stellantis EV day the previous summer. Since Dodge already produces a muscle vehicle, it seems like a no-brainer for Chrysler to make one of these cars into a product of their own.
The thing is, the information that Drive provided and the observations that Feuell made might be relevant to the Airflow. It runs on the STLA Large platform, will have two motors that produce a total of 402 horsepower, and will be equipped with a battery that is capable of powering a range of 400 miles.
According to our best knowledge, Chrysler has not yet referred to it as a crossover vehicle. It does not matter what the name of the car is since any model name that has established brand value may be adapted to be used for any other kind of vehicle (see: Aspen, Blazer, Maverick, et al).
A connection may be made between the Airflow electric vehicle and the original Airflow automobile, which was manufactured from 1937 to 1940. The original vehicle was given its name due to the aerodynamic qualities it had.
However, if the Airflow EV were to enter the market as the new 300, we would not be able to claim that we had never seen that technique before. After all, the new marketing tagline for Chrysler is “Clean technology for a new generation of families,” which leaves plenty of wiggle space for the company to title whatever vehicle they choose.
However, Chrysler has to produce more than one car, and there is no valid reason why not at least one of those vehicles shouldn’t be a sedan. However, in order to find out what is going to be heading our way, we will probably have to come much closer to the presentation of the Airflow concept in the year 2025.
