The Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek 2024 will be the same but with improvements. This is the off-road version. Rock Creek is a rugged model with many unique features. This version has a distinctive interior and includes features such as blacked-out wheels, roof rails, and skid plates.
This model is very stylish and has a great interior design. Rock Creek has an impressive towing capability and is very comfortable. The stiff suspension and poor fuel economy are disappointing. Nissan should deliver important upgrades.
2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Redesign
The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is a great-looking vehicle. The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek has a rugged look, with unique styling elements. Standard 18-inch wheels come in two-tone finishes. Roof rails, upgraded tubular roof racks, and all-terrain tires are also available.
This SUV is a bit stiffer than expected, but it has a solid ground clearance. It does the job. Nissan will once again offer the legendary Baja Storm Pearl color. Currently, there are only three paint colors available for this edition. Hopefully, Nissan will introduce more in the months to come.
The interior of the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is unique and interesting. The interior is vibrant and modern. This SUV has a spacious interior and is comfortable. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment isn’t that good, especially when it comes to graphics. A 9-inch optional display is much better.
Rock Creek is distinguished by its orange accents and leatherette upholstery. Rock Creek’s instrument panel is simple, and it has many standard features. It is not a luxurious model, but an off-road version. This version is therefore devoid of a sunroof and wireless smartphone charger.
Nissan says that the design of its 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is inspired by adventure gear. It’s styled to appear strong and capable. The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is designed with a blunter face, a flatter hood and stance, more prominent fender flairs, and shorter front and back overhangs. The larger tires add to the rugged appearance of the SUV.
There’s no doubt that it’s Nissan. The V-Motion Grille is present. The three slots on the grille pay quite an homage to the ones used in the original 1986 Pathfinder’s hood. The floating C-pillar also pays homage to the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder’s beloved original, as it mimics the angle of the original side windows.
Exterior design elements include available two-tone paint schemes. Standard LED headlights feature sleek daytime running lamps on the top. The U-shaped design elements on the side that connects the powerful fender bulges add to the muscular appearance.
The new Nissan Pathfinder 2024 has a boxy design with a wide but slim LED taillight. The word Pathfinder is visible on the elevator doors, in large satin-chrome letters. Nissan Pathfinder 2024 will be available in 14 colors and color combinations, including five two-tone finishes. Scarlet Bucket with Super Black Metallic is a great combination, as well as the Obsidian Green Pear outside.
The 2024 Pathfinder may have a few new additions, but the standard features should remain the same. We expect base models to be equipped with tech and convenience goodies such as an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, satellite radio and Bluetooth, four USB ports, 6-speaker audio, automatic climate control, and proximity keyless entry.
You can also expect to find upgrades such as a 9-inch touchscreen, navigation, Wi-Fi, wireless charging for devices, Apple CarPlay wireless, two USB ports, an audio system with 13 speakers, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and remote start. Other options include a universal garage opener, a 120-volt household power outlet, and a sunroof.

Rock Creek’s fuel economy is a little disappointing. It’s only a smidge behind the SV 4WD’s 22/27/23 mpg city/highway and 21/21 mpg combined. If you look closely at these photos, you may notice some weird stuff, such as the uneven material surrounding the embroidery on this tester. Remember, this is the pre-production version. Usually, wrinkles like these are ironed out on the production line.
While this Rock Creek Edition is more functional than the previous generation Nissan Pathfinder 2024, it’s still the looks that are the most important. This vehicle is a real winner in this department. It still looks great enough to draw admiring remarks from other exhibit visitors, even if it is only parked on the grass at the county fair.
Engine & Specs
The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is the only trim level that comes standard with all-wheel drive. This model is not particularly different from other trim levels, except for a few mechanical upgrades.
The same 3.5-liter gas engine produces 295 horsepower. This powertrain also adds 281 lb-ft of torque – around 11 lb-ft more than the base Pathfinder. Unfortunately, if you want your vehicle to achieve 281 lb.ft., you will need to use premium fuel.
