This company will make the 2024 Genesis GV90, a premium three-row SUV. The new flagship SUV, which will be identical to the G90 sedan in appearance and size, will offer enough space for all of its passengers.
The GV90 will also be an electric vehicle. There have been rumors that Hyundai has stopped developing internal combustion engines. The new model will be based on an E-GMP platform. It also includes models like the EV6 and the Ioniq 5.
2024 Genesis GV90 Redesign
The 2024 Genesis GV90’s first renderings show a striking design. The new SUV, which follows in the footsteps of GV60, is the second completely electric vehicle from the company. It will be riding on the same Electric Global Modular Platform, which should allow for large battery capacities.
According to the information available, the new model will share parts with the electric SUVs from Hyundai or Kia. It will have a long wheelbase and a distance between axles of 126 in, much like the Seven concepts.
Interior
The 2024 Genesis GV90 is the first Genesis car to offer three rows of seating and enough space for seven people. The G90 sedan will share many of its luxuries. This SUV is spacious and comfortable with a distance of 3.2 meters (126 in) between the axles. Even passengers at the back will have enough room to stretch their legs.
We anticipate a large LCD display and a digital gauge. It will likely include navigation, SiriusXM satellite, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Bang & Olufsen Stereo system.
Exterior
These renderings by Kolesa show the GV90, with a design clearly inspired by the G90 that was shown last week. It has a Crest front grille with pronounced lower intakes below. These same Two-Line headlight bulbs from the G90 are still available and slightly slimmer than the GV80.
The Genesis GV90 also features door handles that are flush with the bodywork and large wheels with a silver finish. An identical light array, consisting of two main tail lamp units and two LED light bars, continues the G90 sedan’s inspiration at the rear.
Performance
We don’t yet know what motor will power the 2024 Genesis GV90. According to rumors, the new flagship will be offered with only two motor configurations. This will mean that it will come standard with all-wheel drive. Although details are still scarce, we do know that the SUV will be riding on an E-GMP platform.
According to some rumors, the GV90 should have a range of 300 miles. It shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes for the GV90 to charge from 10 to 80 percent. We are confident that the performance will be much better than its GV60 sibling, although we don’t yet know the exact power statistics.
Powertrain & Battery
The 2024 Genesis GV90 crossover will be all-electric, as we have just mentioned. We don’t yet know the exact output, but recent reports suggest that there are a few options. Base versions will have rear-wheel drive. Higher trims will feature more powerful setups with electric motors on both sides.
Although the exact power figures remain a mystery, the details regarding the battery seem certain. Although we don’t yet know the exact capacity of the battery, it is predicted that the maximum range will be around 300 miles. We also know that the SUV will be capable of charging at a staggering 350 kW. We expect that the charging time for 10 to 80 percent will be between 20 and 30 minutes due to this impressive charging speed.
What Will The 2024 Genesis GV90 Cost You?
According to reports, the basic model of the 2024 Genesis GV90 SUV with basic equipment will cost $85,000. You can expect to pay more for some upper trims.
The GV90, as we mentioned, is an SUV built on the EGMP platform. This platform also supports models like the Kia EV9 and the Hyundai Ioniq 7 as well as a few other three-row SUVs. This SUV will be released next year and compete with the Mercedes EQS SUV and Tesla Model X.
