The SV Bespoke division is now open, allowing the storied British luxury brand to offer a higher level of refinement and personalization. The service will be available to only Autobiography and SSV variants in the newly refined 2024 Range Rover range. This new range also replaces the petrol P400 variant with a hybridized P460e and introduces mild-hybrid technologies to existing twin-turbo v8 vehicles as well as the flagship high-output Range Rover.
Powertrains
For the 2024 Range Rover range, the entry-level P400 is no longer available. The new petrol entry point now has a hybrid system that includes a 160kW motor and the 3.0-litre Ingenium six-cylinder engine for a total system output of 338kW. With a price of $250,350, the mild hybrid 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine (producing 258kW), which is currently in use in the D350, returns to service.
The mild hybrid (MHEV), which is a new technology, can be found on the twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter engines in the P530 Range Rover models, as well as the high-output Range Rover P615 SV. This flagship vehicle now produces 452kW and 750Nm.
Features
The new generation Range Rover’s first model-year update includes the latest Pivi Pro Infotainment System, which is displayed through a floating 13.1-inch touchscreen. Range Rover claims that 80 percent of infotainment tasks can be performed with just two taps on the home screen. The use of haptic feedback should improve the user’s experience and make it more intuitive. The 2024 Range Rover also features an internal voice control system, Amazon Alexa integration and can be updated over the air.
Country Road Assist is a new technology that will be available for the newly updated Range Rover. It integrates with the Range Rover’s Adaptive cruise control and uses navigational data to adjust the target speed automatically, taking into account bends in the road and changes in speed limits accordingly.
Dynamic Response Pro is Range Rover’s active electric roll stabilization. It is adapted from the Range Rover Sport. The system uses strut actuators on each corner to counteract body roll. This can be done at 1400Nm per axle. Terrain Response 2 now includes Adaptive Offroad Cruise Control, which allows the driver to choose from four comfort settings. The system maintains a constant speed and the driver is free to concentrate on steering.
